Masai Mara wildlife is on permanent show: large resident herds of animals (zebras, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, impalas, topis… ) and their predators (lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas…) are prevalent all year round ,These birds are prolific and come in every size and color including common but beautiful ones like the lilac breasted roller and plenty of other large species like eagles.Every July (or sometimes August), the wildebeest travel from Tanzania's Serengeti plains, northwards to the Masai Mara and the Mara River is the final obstacle.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi-Entebbe-Kampala
Morning game drives then drive to Nairobi via Narok;
we stop to browse in the bustling, vibrant Masai
markets to buy curios and handicrafts before
continuing to Nairobi and drop off at the airport to
connect your flight to Entebbe at 2030 pm on arrival
our representative will transfer you to a hotel in
Kampala for your overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Ngamba Chimps Sanctuary
After breakfast leave hotel, you are transferred to
the pier in Entebbe. from where we take a pleasant
(45 minutes) boat ride on Lake Victoria to Ngamba
Island. On arrival at the Island, home to 39
chimpanzees, you will be given a short briefing on
the sanctuary like why it was established and the
back ground as well.Spend about 1 hour with the
chimps and later in the afternoon take a rest at the
pool side or the lake shores as you wait for the
next feeding of the chimps to watch them feed. It’s
astounding!
Obviously the ideal option would be to re-introduce
these orphaned chimpanzees to the wild however this
is not possible for a number of different reasons
and the sanctuary is not bad for second best. Meals
and overnight at Ngamba Tented Camp (Full Board).
Day 5: Kampala-Bwindi impenetrable forest
Our journey to the Mountain Gorilla land starts
after your Early breakfast. It takes us
southwestwards passing through the equator in Masaka,
to Mbarara town and drive through the long horned
cows of Ankole. We shall pass through the large vast
flat savanna lands to the amazing hilly slopes of
Kigezi and finally to the impenetrable forest home
to the endangered Mountain Gorilla

different areas where you can track the mountain
gorillas, and they include Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga
and Nkuringo. Each of these areas has specialized

The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys,
chimpanzees and many birds (such as hornbills and
